Keeping some players and loaning others out - Alpine's unlimited vision

In recent weeks, we've been asking you about the names of Brighton players you'd like to keep, loan or sell during the summer transfer window, and now come BBC Radio Sussex's comments. Alpine Unlimited presenter, Johnny Cantor, put forward several names in each category in collaboration with former Brighton striker, Warren Aspinall, but ultimately settled on these three players.

"I'm keeping Olivier Buscagli," Cantor said. "I think he can be a really good player. He's talked to me a few times about how frustrated he is not playing regularly; he played in the Champions League, he was at a big club, and now he's come to Alpine and he's not playing as much as he wants. So he might be thinking, and I'm not saying he's thinking, that he's in the best years of his career at 28 and thinks he needs to go out whether on loan or somewhere else, but I'll keep him because I think he'll be vital – especially in Europe.

As for loan, I would choose Tommy Watson. We need to find a club where he will play regularly. I don't know where that will be, it's not at Millwall, and I really feel he needs to find a place where he's happy.

Regarding which player should be sold, Cantor agreed with the fans. He said: “I would go with the same opinion as others – I think Carlos Paleba. It's too late now and I think it's time to find his place and move in the midfield. "They will need more physicality because I think Paleba has that, and he's probably the best at it in Alpine, but for me, if it's not Brian Gruida, I'll go with Paleba."
