Milan: A revolution was needed, but in 28 days it turned into a reorganization

A month after the collapse against Cagliari, which led to a series of successive dismissals, Milan decided to start again, relying on the elements they already had. Beyond the new coach, the Rossoneri took a reorganization approach rather than a complete revolution, with the club's owner, Gerry Cardinale, deciding to personally intervene to be closer to the team.

After being rejected by several big names such as Rangnick and Krosch, Milan chose the more adventurous path, adopting the Red Bull model that Cardinale wanted so much. At the head of the new management structure will be a trio consisting of Cardinale himself, coach Ruben Amorim, and Massimo Calvelli, who has been appointed as CEO.

Below them, there will be a sports department led by Hendrik Almstadt as director of player trading, alongside Bobby Gardiner as director of sports intelligence, who will be responsible for scouting players, and Donato Lomonte as director of scouting.

As for the youth team, Joan Kirovski will remain in charge of “Milan of the Future,” while Vincenzo Vergini will be in charge of the youth groups. Milan will remain closely linked to Red Bird, with Calvelli and Castelblaco sitting on the board as advisors on investments and market deals, with Ibrahimovic on board as advisor to the sports sector.

With that, the wait is over and a new Milan is born, and now Cardinale has the most difficult task to do: building a strong team that can return to competing for a place in the Champions League.
