We have reached June 29, the day of Saints Peter and Paul, patrons of the city of Rome. While the city divides between those who choose the sea and those who take advantage of the holiday with a trip outside the city, a completely different atmosphere prevails in Trigoria. At the club's headquarters, the remaining hours are being counted until June 30, the crucial date for closing the budget and complying with the obligations agreed with UEFA.

This year's financial goal has never been so out of reach as it is now. Roma are missing a significant amount of profit, around €45 million, and the time remaining is running out. The transfer market abroad, too, remains up in the air. The most important case concerns Manu Kuné. In recent days, the French player rejected the offer of Atletico Madrid, the only club that has taken concrete steps so far, with the hope of moving to the English Premier League. Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest in recent weeks, but the English route appears to have slowed, although he remains an option to pursue in the coming weeks.

There is also no new news regarding Mathias Solé. The only serious offer came from Al-Ahly, while rumors regarding the possibility of his return to Juventus were confirmed. As for Artem Dovbek and Jan Zyukowski, the situation is more complicated, as there is a lack of clubs interested in transferring permanently.

Should we consider the situation dramatic? Not necessarily. Roma has proven to UEFA that it is a club capable of generating revenues and improving its financial conditions, so the main fear is not about sporting sanctions, but rather about the size of the financial fine. If between today and tomorrow the club can complete at least one deal between Salahuddin, Cherubini and Migne, the amount of the fine could be significantly reduced. Otherwise, the bill may be too heavy.
