Milan: names worth €60 million on the market and the influence of agent Jorge Mendes

Milan have finally decided how to move forward with their new career, including at a managerial level. Jerry Cardinale opted for an internal reorganization after many options faded. Now we have to think about the summer transfer market, with the need to strengthen the team to face the challenges under the leadership of new coach Ruben Amorim. In this context, there is interest in the influence of the internationally known agent, Georgi Mendis. According to Corriere dello Sport, the powerful Portuguese agent has been involved with the Lombard club in recent seasons. Even though new coach Amorim is not one of his clients, that doesn't matter much. In addition, this relationship can affect the names of players in the market. Two specific examples provided by the newspaper are Gonzalo Ramos (from Paris Saint-Germain) and Holmand (from Sporting Lisbon), two targets of Milan whose total cost is 60 million euros.

Milan's new management structure consists of a trio at the top of the pyramid: Jerry Cardinale, coach Ruben Amorim, and Massimo Cavelli, who has been appointed as CEO. Below them, there will be a sports division led by Hendrik Almstad as Director of Player Trading (a sort of sporting director), alongside Bobby Gardiner as Director of Sports Information (responsible for scouting players), and Donato Lomonte as Director of Area Scouting. As for youth affairs, Joban Kiervski remains in charge of Milan Futures, while Vincenzo Vergini takes charge of the youth teams.
