Milan, Mendez role: Ramos deal closed, focus now on Giménez and Leao leaving

After confirming the arrival of Gonzalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain, Milan continues its moves in the transfer market with Jorge Mendez's increasing role in the operations. According to Corriere della Sera, the Portuguese agent played a crucial role in the deal that led to the Portuguese striker joining the Rossoneri, and will also be involved in the club's next steps. The agent is currently working on finding a destination for Santiago Gimenez, who could potentially move to Porto, as well as identifying a new team for Rafael Leao. The Portuguese player recently expressed his desire to leave Milan after seven years spent with the team. Meanwhile, the club gave coach Ruben Amorim the striker, who was the absolute priority for the new technical project. The Gonzalo Ramos deal has been closed for a total value of around €70 million, including set pieces and allowances, making it the most expensive deal in Milan's history and the most expensive deal in Italian football since the purchase of Romelu Lukaku from Inter in the summer of 2019.
