Manchester City target Malo Gusto from Chelsea, but the price is too high

Manchester City appears to be continuing its interest in signing Malo Gusto, the Chelsea right-back, after former coach Pep Guardiola expressed his admiration for the talent emerging from the Olympique Lyonnais academy. Although Guardiola has yet to win against Lyon in the Champions League, his appreciation for the ability of French players, such as Rayan Cherki, has prompted the English club to consider including Gusto.

Gusto, who is 23 years old, made 49 appearances last season and is currently considered one of the prominent names on the market, with Juventus also said to be interested in signing him. But the asking price from Chelsea, which amounts to 87 million euros, may be an obstacle for Manchester City, which is looking for alternative options in the right-back position.

Reports suggest that Manchester City, who signed Marco Palestra for €55m, are now considering other options such as Givairo Read from Feyenoord, who could cost much less. At the same time, Malo Gusto is considered an ideal choice for Manchester City, especially since he knows the team's new coach, Enzo Maresca, who supervised him at Chelsea.
