FIFA suspends the penalty for OLAR Ren Balogun

It was announced today, July 5, that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has decided to suspend the penalty imposed on the US national team striker, Olarin Balogun, which was to suspend him for one match after he was sent off in the round of 16 match of the 2026 World Cup against the Bosnia and Herzegovina team, which ended in a 2-0 victory for the United States.

With this decision, Balogun will be able to play in the 8th round match of the 2026 World Cup against the Belgian national team scheduled for July 7. The 2026 World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
