PSV begins preparation campaign against Antwerp
PSV will start its pre-season campaign against Antwerp, where the match will be played without an audience but can be watched via live broadcast.
The Dutch club PSV announced its first match in the pre-season period, as it will face the Belgian team Antwerp next Saturday at 11:00 am. The match will be held without spectators, but can be followed via PSV's live broadcast service.
It is noteworthy that the Antwerp team finished last season in eleventh place in the Belgian league, which made it miss the opportunity to play in European competitions. Former Antwerp coach, Josef Oosting, was sacked last season and is now in charge of the Go Ahead Eagles.
PSV will also play other friendly matches in the pre-season, meeting FC Eindhoven and Villarreal after their training camp in Germany. Another friendly match is scheduled to be held in which the opposing team has not yet been announced, while a clash with Raków Częstochowa has been confirmed.
PSV begins its new season on Sunday, August 2, against AZ in the Johan Cruyff Championship.
