Atalanta is seeking to renew the contracts of Scalvini and Scamacca as part of its future plan

Atalanta is working to secure the contracts of its main players, Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca, as the club seeks to renew their contracts in light of the increasing interest in them from other clubs. Following the transfer of Marco Palestra, the team has made renewing the contracts of Scalvini and Scamacca a priority, with both players currently linked to the club until 2028.

The aim of this step is to strengthen their position in the team’s technical project, which also represents a clear message to the clubs wishing to sign them. Scalvini remains the subject of interest from Newcastle, while Scamacca is a target for Roma.

However, Atalanta make it clear that both players are non-negotiable, and are considered key to the team's make-up under new coach Maurizio Sarri. The upcoming season represents a great opportunity for Scalvini to regain his level after suffering from injuries in the previous season, where he played more than 2,200 minutes. He is expected to adapt to the new 4-3-3 defense system, instead of the previous 3-5-2 system.

As for Scamacca, he enters the season after scoring 14 goals last season, making him the best scorer on the team. He will have a pivotal role in attack, supported by the players on the wings. Scamacca seeks to maintain his position as one of the leaders in the team and contribute to Atalanta's success in the local championship and also in the new national team.
