Onana remains in Türkiye with Trabzonspor after a new deal with Manchester United

The Turkish club Trabzonspor announced the renewal of the loan deal with Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, whose transfer to Manchester United was completed in 2023 for about fifty million euros from Inter Milan. However, Onana did not live up to the expectations expected of him in his first spell in England, with Manchester United having a new goalkeeper, Ounya Lammens. According to reports from the Manchester Evening News, the new deal will not include an option to buy. Onana's contract with Manchester United runs until 2028. Last season, Onana participated in 29 matches with Trabzonspor in the Turkish League, and achieved great success as the team won the Turkish Cup.
