Oliver Glasner leaves Crystal Palace in triumphant fashion

Oliver Glasner said a ceremonial farewell to Crystal Palace, having led the team to unprecedented achievements, from winning the FA Cup and the European Conference Cup, to qualifying for next season's Europa League (after his qualification was canceled last season by UEFA due to the joint ownership issue).  Glasner's future could be with AC Milan, as he is expected to meet with the club's management soon to explore the possibility of a move. In Milan, he may apply his coaching ideas, but in his farewell message to Crystal Palace fans, he made it clear that he realizes that evaluations are ultimately about results, although what he feels most proud of is the path he has followed over the past years. Part of his open letter read: "Football - and football management - always comes down to results. Without results, you won't stay anywhere for very long. But results and even titles are not what made me proudest. What I'm most proud of is being part of the team we built together, the bonds between the players, the coaching staff, Steve and the board, and especially you, the fans. Together we believed that there was nothing this club couldn't achieve, and no opponent we couldn't beat."
