Francesco Montervino, former Napoli captain, spoke to La Repubblica about the current situation of the Napoli club, starting by highlighting the management of President Aurelio De Laurentiis. “I consider him a Visionario,” Montervino said. “When I knew him, I had the feeling that he could achieve something extraordinary, but he exceeded all my expectations in terms of results. I remember him talking about the multimedia stadium, about pay-per-view, about the global markets of football. He was right about everything.”
Montervino also commented on the club's decision to move towards Massimiliano Allegri after Antonio Conte, saying: "I am convinced that this is an important step by the club. He is a successful coach and he will prove that at Napoli as well."
