Liverpool's £15m player is set to leave Anfield

Liverpool are preparing for major changes to their squad ahead of the start of the 2026-27 season, as the team's owners have changed the manager. With the departure of a number of key players such as Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson, the need to sign new players has become clear.

Federico Chiesa has been told to look for a new club. Although he has not played much for Liverpool, he has become a cult hero among the club's fans. He was used in several positions when needed, and although coach Aren Salut did not trust him, Chiesa performed well when he was involved.

But according to reports from Football Insider, Chiesa has been told he must look for a new club. According to sources, his price could range between £10-15 million given his difficulty in starting out in the starting lineup. The Italian player is currently considering the offers available to him as he wants to get regular playing minutes after two years of lack of participation at Anfield.

Coach Andoni Iraola is expected to try to keep Chiesa even after the summer pre-season ends. This summer's pre-season will go down as one of the biggest in Liverpool's history, with Iraola monitoring each player as if they were a new signing.

This means that players like Trey Nyon and Harvey Elliott could get an important role in the team if they perform well. Although clubs like Juventus, Como and Inter Milan want to sign him, Liverpool should keep him for a longer period because he can fill the void that Salah will leave as a natural right winger, and if he returns to his best levels, he could become one of the most important players in Liverpool.

Of course, his history with injuries is a concern, but if Liverpool and the player can overcome this hurdle, he could become a top £10m signing. These are all possible scenarios, but even if Chiesa can make more than 15 goalscoring contributions, he could play a vital role in Liverpool's return to the top.
