الخلفية

Ferran, who was recently signed, is a valuable addition to Barcelona, especially after the club avoided paying big variables. While the club is also seeking to complete a deal for Rodri, Julian's interest in a transfer reflects the players' desire to join La Liga, which will intensify competition in the market.

لماذا هذا مهم

FC Barcelona's current transfer deals are pivotal to strengthening the team before the start of the new La Liga season. The focus on Ferran and Rudy reflects the club's strategy to improve performance and meet the coach's needs. Julian's desire to move also reflects the challenges Barcelona faces in attracting quality players.

FC Barcelona is experiencing a state of intense activity in the current period, with both President Joan Laporta and Sporting Director Deco leading great efforts in the final days of the transfer market. Priorities now focus on completing deals for players such as Ferran and Rudy, as the club seeks to control prices in careful negotiations.

Barcelona was able to finalize Ferran's transfer deal for an amount of approximately 50 million euros, which is a good deal considering that it is free of variables, which means saving eight million euros that the club would have had to pay to Manchester City in the event that the player's contract was renewed. On the other hand, Manchester City is demanding 80 million euros to release Rudy, which is considered a high amount for a 30-year-old player whose contract expires next season. Reducing the price to 70 million is a good deal for the club.

Other negotiations are also taking place around Argentine player Julian, who has expressed a strong desire to move to Barcelona. Jullien seems determined to fulfill his dream of playing at the Camp Nou, and is ready to keep pushing for the move, as he would rather not go back. Keeping a player in a club that he does not want to continue is not an easy matter, especially since fans do not prefer players who announce their desire to leave.

For example, since Ferran stated that Barcelona must show its desire to keep him, a large portion of Barcelona fans have turned away from him, especially after his desire to move to Paris Saint-Germain emerged. This reflects the Catalan saying “bon vent e barca nova,” which means saying goodbye to someone or getting rid of something with a sense of ease and indifference. This is the feeling among Barcelona fans towards Ferran, who has not received much support in the dressing room.

Ultimately, the club prefers to have players who are comfortable and willing to commit to their teammates. Having unhappy players in the locker room does not contribute to creating a positive environment, which is essential for building a cohesive team. Barcelona have no intention of giving up on Julian, and he is determined to fight for his dream. So, in the end it depends on the market between the clubs, which seems driven to reach an agreement, although the price differences are still large. If Barcelona can successfully complete three deals (one of which has already been closed), we may have to honor some people for these achievements.

What's next?

Barcelona are expected to continue negotiations with Manchester City over a Rodri deal, as the club seeks to reduce the cost. At the same time, Julian will continue to press to fulfill his dream of playing at the Camp Nou, which may affect the stability of the team. If both deals are completed successfully, Barcelona could see a significant reinforcement in their squad before the start of the season.
