الخلفية

Oskar Byticzewski, the 18-year-old Polish player, is currently playing for Porto and has shown great potential in developing his skills. Byticevski is an interesting option as a potential signing to bolster Liverpool's attacking line, especially given the intense competition in the transfer market.

لماذا هذا مهم

The Oscar Byticzewski deal is considered important for Liverpool in light of the challenges the team faces before the start of the new season in the English Premier League. With a €60 million release clause, signing him could strengthen the attacking line and give the team multiple options in playing positions, helping to improve overall performance.

• Liverpool is preparing for a new season in the English Premier League, as it seeks to strengthen its ranks by signing Polish star Oskar Pietszewski, who has a release clause worth 60 million euros.

With less than a month to go until the start of the new Premier League season, Liverpool are preparing to face Newcastle United on August 23, a match that is expected to be very exciting. However, Liverpool fans may not be too excited heading into the season, as the summer transfer market was expected to be busy, but things did not go as planned.

Although two new players have joined Andoni Airola's squad during pre-season friendlies, the team has already lost three players, and more are expected to leave, meaning Liverpool still have a lot of work to do. Therefore, the club’s association with a number of players is a source of reassurance, but some actual deals must be achieved to avoid falling behind competitors and achieving worse results than the 2025-26 season.

One name currently being mooted is Oskar Byticzewski, the Polish striker who most Liverpool fans may not know. The 18-year-old currently plays for Porto, and has quickly become one of the team's most important strikers. Petiszewski has the ability to play in several positions, as he can play as a left or right winger, which increases his appeal.

The release clause in his contract with Porto amounts to 60 million euros, which makes the negotiation process difficult, as the Portuguese club confirmed that it will not accept less than this amount, given the great interest from major European clubs. Competition for his services is not limited to Borussia Dortmund, but also includes many major clubs in the English Premier League such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle, in addition to Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.

Pityshevski's management would prefer a move to a project that would guarantee him regular playing time, making his transfer decision more complex given the huge financial resources and attractive sporting opportunities offered by the top clubs. While Byticevski joined Porto during the winter transfer window, his performances have caught the attention of several clubs in Europe.

If Liverpool are able to land Byticzewski, it would be a bold investment, although the player has only scored seven goals in 18 Portuguese league appearances, raising questions about his ability to compensate for the departure of Mohamed Salah. Filling the void left by Salah will be one of the most challenging tasks for Erola and company, so fans should not be surprised if they cannot see any new signings before the end of the transfer window.

What's next?

Negotiations around Pityshevski are expected to continue during the summer transfer window, as Liverpool seeks to secure a strong deal that strengthens their squad. With interest from other clubs in the English Premier League, it will be necessary for Liverpool to move quickly to avoid losing the player to their rivals.
