Atletico Madrid aims to include Solet for 25 million euros, and Inter faces the risk of losing another target

Inter Milan are in danger of losing another player they thought they were close to signing, as reports from France indicate that Atletico Madrid are targeting Udinese defender Uma Solet. Currently, Inter is under great pressure after they were about to finalize the details with Atalanta to include Marco Palestra, but Chelsea suddenly intervened and made an offer worth 55 million euros in addition to 5 million euros in additions. Inter did not match that offer, leaving them in an awkward position.

Now, it appears that Atletico Madrid are ready to make a bid to Udinese for Solet, whose asking price is around €25 million. Although Inter have reached an initial agreement on personal terms, negotiations over a fee with the club are still ongoing, making the situation unclear.

As of now, Inter's offer is believed to exceed €20 million, with them hoping to plug the gap through bonuses. With so much dependent on selling other players, such as Jan Pesek and Stefan de Vrij, Inter are in danger of losing another target in the transfer market. Atletico Madrid have previously shown activity in the market, signing Ademola Lookman from Atalanta after Inter failed to reach an agreement after weeks of negotiations.
