Football stars shine: They all shine in the second round of the World Cup

It is not new that the biggest football stars gather in the World Cup, but what is new is that all of these stars gave a distinguished performance in the same round. Lionel Messi scored two goals against Austria, and could have scored a hat-trick had he not missed a penalty kick. However, Messi shone and performed brilliantly, contributing to Argentina's qualification to the round of 32. Hours later, it was Kylian Mbappé's turn, who also scored two goals, making him close to the top of the scorers, scoring two goals to equal the historic record scored by Klose. On the other hand, Erling Haaland added himself to the list of outstanding players, as he scored two goals against Senegal, bringing him to four goals in his first World Cup. Finally, after the criticism he faced following his debut, Cristiano Ronaldo proved that he is still among the greats, as he also scored two goals against Uzbekistan at the age of forty-one.
