Telemundo leads over Fox among soccer fans in the United States

In a new report from the New York Times, the results of a poll show that World Cup coverage by Telemundo is very popular among American soccer fans, far outperforming Fox, which owns the English-language broadcast rights. The survey indicated that Telemundo stands out even among those who do not speak Spanish.

“These commentators can make even a frog race exciting,” said one viewer, Joey, while Tony B. The difference between the two networks is that “it is as if it were from night to day, where the atmosphere became full of energy instead of boredom.”

Telemundo, after Univision, is the second largest Spanish-language television network in the United States. On the other hand, many fans on Fox are looking forward to the exciting competition between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alex Lalas, two prominent figures in the world of football. Ibrahimovic has a tough reputation and sharp jokes, while Lalas is known as a controversial and divisive pundit. These studio debates, alongside Rebecca Law and Thierry Henry, have become part of the most followed programs on Fox, and the Wall Street Journal wonders whether this competition is real or manufactured to attract an audience.
